We at Terra Pain Consultants are here to help you. We know you may have many questions, but we want to make this process as smooth as possible. Here are several common questions that you may have. However, in case you do not find the answers to your questions here, give us a call.

  • Who will I see during my visit at Terra Pain Consultants?
    At Terra Pain Consultants, our belief is that each patient should be evaluated by a highly-trained pain physician. Dr Patel is double board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He also has over a decade of experience with interventional procedures in pain medicine.
  • What will happen on my first visit?
    During your first visit at Terra Pain Consultants all new patients will need to arrive 30 min prior to their appointments to check in at the front desk. Our pain professionals will do a comprehensive evaluation, listen actively to your concerns and personal goals, and come up with detailed plan of care to meet your needs.
  • What should I bring with me for my first visit?
    We ask all new patients to bring a copy of their health insurance ID card, state issued driver’s license or photo ID, any co-pays that will be due at the time of the visit and imaging records. Patients are encouraged to bring any list of questions they have regarding their pain.
  • How soon can I get a appointment at Terra Pain consultants?
    Our goal is to try our best to get you in as soon as possible. We do not want you to suffer one more day, so give us a call today.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Yes! We are in network with most major health plans in North Carolina and South Carolina, including Medicare and Medicaid. Please give us a call today, and we can help answer any questions you may have about your insurance coverage.
